Sleep Technician

Sleep Technician Job Status: Full-Time/Part Time/Night & Day time

Please only candidates with Polysomnographic training.

Job Responsibilities:
" Prepare patients and equipment for study ordered as well as explain testing procedures.
" Monitor sleep study patients.
" Collect and analyze patient information. Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events. Scoring capable.
" Use knowledge of polysomnographic equipment to create accurate and detailed test results.
" Perform routine equipment care and maintenance.
" Maintain current CPR or BLS certification.
" Display computer skills appropriate for the position.
" Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
" Demonstrate excellent social and customer service skills.
" Ability to work with minimal supervision.
" Display teamwork skills.
" Demonstrate the ability to follow direction.
" Adhere to sleep center policies.

Medical Receptionist/Front Desk


Busy Sleep Medicine Practice & Lab in Oak Park is looking to hire a qualified candidate who is motivated and a fast learner with a great work ethic to join our team!

Job Expectations and Requirements are as follows:

- Answer phones, collect payments, collect and update patient information, schedule appointments, follow-ups &procedures Telephone messages, welcome/greet patients, Other clerical work as needed

- Organize & enter patient data into Electronic Medical Records

- Working knowledge on processing prescription refills, initiate & check for prior authorizations for any of our practice procedures & services, medical records and patient documentation

- Knowledge of medical insurance and plans a must

- Assist patients and physicians as needed

- Provide MA back up as needed, including but not limited to: Rooming patients; Documentation of patient visits; Patient interaction includes patient education

- Candidate must display good work ethic, respectful attitude, friendly demeanor, willingness to learn and follow directions and always be a team player; Punctual, dependable and friendly; Patient Confidentiality

- Computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and medical software or similar. Computerized EHR and scheduling. Accuracy & attention to detail a must

-Candidate must also possess: Strong Customer Service & communication skills; Strong working knowledge of Insurance plans and pre-authorizations; Excellent telephone techniques and rapport; skills; Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills; Ability to prioritize and maintain organization in a high volume environment excellent time management skills Contribute to a positive team environment and be open to feedback Maintain a calm demeanor and attention to detail during periods of high patient volume; Flexible schedule Bilingual Spanish a plus

Requirements to be considered for this position, a candidate must have:
-A minimum of 2 years medical office/medical assistant experience
-Experience working knowledge with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Scheduling System Referral, Insurance Benefits, Pre-authorizations, billing knowledge helpful but not required
